Argento Region
The scattered members of the Argento Region had been in small skirmishes and things for ages before the formation of the Peacekeepers in 1320. The small organization worked diligently through providing aid in itself and through the other native species teaching them to work as a group instead of fight over the ample space. By the arrival of a strange ship in 1330, the groundwork had been laid and the strange threat allowed the organization to draw them into a loose alliance and a new name, The Priores.
The newcomers had a simple name Invaders. They attempted to strike a claim to the land but finding nothing but resources and no desperate need for them allowed the newly allied group to drive them away. Scattered and broken the strangers set sea, unbeknownst to the Priores the report of this strange land of untapped resources would be filled way within the archives.
Those who had been driven off had stumbled upon mention of this land. Through hard work, they went back to those Corrumpere who had visited this land with the humans. Hearing of the hope and open land. Nearly half a millennia had passed since the last Corrumpere had visited their shores when in 1800, a small group of three large sailing vessels made port. It seems once the strangers had been driven off the peace had remained but the alliance had weakened. Little in the way of proper contact extended to the Elven Realm to the north and only small amounts of trade with the Halfling’s home across the Towering Heights. This fragmentation allowed the Corrumpere to settle across the shore.
Lelouch Goodnight the Outlaw had escaped his reputation mostly in this new world. Through deception and false praise, he managed to convince the Priores to show him the way to the source of Silver in the Towering Heights. In 1824, he put those who had aided him in locating it to work within the mines. As the rare metal escaped the ground his wealth and influence increased. The fact Silver has been found, drifted through the newly established Silver Town (Est. 1825). Spreading the news of the find of rare metal back to their countries of origin to help draw more labor to aid in the expansion of progress in the new world.
The Priores gathered the last of their resources and sought aid from the world at large. Drawing lawmen, as the city of Dundirth, financed the resurrection of the Peacekeepers the skeletal remains of a base upon Grey Enclave that the new organization slowly reformed and settled in. The fact they took a name of old and gathered members from either side helping to cement them as a faction in the middle of the strange battle of the Priores and the Corrumpere.
The Silver Mine paved the way for the arrival of the steam monster in the form of La Corazon de Plata.
