Ahktu Fren Rhu

Played by Jai

Name

Many names have been assigned to this ancient being, but his favorite was given to him by an Elven girl he raised when he was younger, ‘Ahktu Fren Rhu’ which translates roughly to Old Father Origin,(According to the old man). The girl passed in what felt like a blink of the eye for the old man, and slowly her descendants built a city around him. Eventually though, all things must end and the Elves slowly forgot about him

Age

Presumed to have been in adulthood when the Elves were but tribal people, however his true age is unknown- It’s not that he refuses to say. He has simply forgotten.

Race

Arian-variant is what he has been assigned, however his ancient being conflicts with their short lifespans, leaving some speculations.

Personality

A wise elder in capability, Rhu is a bit of a lewd prankster. He knows more than almost anybody in the world regarding the ancient past, however that doesn't deter his love for learning. He will not give his love easily as those he loves all die while he lives on. He has never truly mated, as he has never met another Turtle-Arian. He is generous and kind but only gives his trust once. He often refers to others as children, being much older than most living things. He is more stubborn than the mountains.

Miscellaneous

Deep care towards half-elves, elves, halflings, and the Arian. No hatred or discrimination. Can see through most disguises due to his wisdom and connection to nature. Refuses to accept a superior. Large sweet tooth.

Combat

Strengths: Water control, wisdom, extremely strong defence, martial arts

Weaknesses: Fire, strong heat, dry areas, blunt weapons

History

Nobody is quite sure where or when he was born, but Rhu states he was born from nature itself. This may just be a fabrication in order to hide his true situation.

First-ish century: Rhu explored a mostly empty world, small populations of various races spread throughout. However, he could not survive out of the water for very long during this time and mostly interacted with those who lived under the sea. As Rhu slowly began to understand his ability over water he realized that if he used the water in the air, he could explore above the water.

Second-ish to fifth-ish century: During this time Rhu focused on perfecting his connection to water. Violence was not once on his mind, only understanding, and as such he was able to truly bond with water. While exploring the sea, the water around him was always the purest. By the end of the 5th century he had gained a true understanding of water and was able to bend all water within a certain distance as he wished, so long as that water was not in another living thing. But, with the sea fully explored and his existence already fading to a faint legend in the area he began his journey.

Sixth-ish to tenth-ish century: Rhu explored the land, making friends in many small tribes as he committed mistakes and slowly grew wiser. Sometime early during this era of Rhu’s life he killed for the first time. This plagued Rhu until he saved a young Elven girl and raised her as his own. He settled down in a large forest with her as he did his best to raise her into a fine woman. Slowly other elves migrated to this place of safety and a city was built. On her deathbed the Elven girl named Rhu before passing away.

Tenth-ish century-present day- Rhu left the city and headed for the nearest ocean. Burying himself under the sand, Rhu mourned his daughter for two centuries, only moving to secure basic survival. When he emerged the city was ruins and slowly being reclaimed by the surrounding forest. It is not clear what Rhu did for the centuries afterwards, but he grew greatly in wisdom and experience. He grew wrinkly and got a pair of enchanted glasses to make reading easier before secluding himself once more for unknown reasons. Now, forgotten by all Rhu heads for The Argento Region.
